Abstract The dynamic development of new technologies is a fact. They cover various so-cial groups and influence almost all areas of life. In most situations, they are a positive tool for civilization’s development. However, they can generate many problems, especially among young people who cannot imagine living without using the Internet. This specific social transformation under the influence of new technologies cannot be ignored in the process of young people’s development and upbringing, including their education.The aim of the article is to analyze young people’s specific behavior and perception of cyberbullying in Poland and Slovakia. The multidimensionality of threats and challenges in the area of cyber-space clearly indicates the need to positively stimulate young people’s behavior. It seems that they do not always perceive cyberactivity, including the methods and forms used in communication, as invasive and capable of negatively influencing others.This article attempts to conduct a comparative analysis, taking into account the perspectives present in Poland and Slovakia, based on survey re-search on a selected group of respondents.
