Abstract This paper addresses a an important issue about physical properties of matter that people are generally unaware. When children learn about three physical states of matter, which are common in our environment. However, as will be presented in paper, matter in the universe does not only have three physical states, but five different physical states. In introduction to paper, show characteristics that distinguish physical states of matter, its close relationship with temperature and importance of each in development of human knowledge are presented. The existence of two other physical states which schools do not teach, creates a knowledge gap for science and technological development. Although they are rare and rarely occur spontaneously on Earth, they are fundamental for balance of Universe. The final discussion, there is a reflection on importance of spreading science clearly, evolution of knowledge about matter in nature and in Cosmos.
