Abstract The article is aimed at critical analysis of view points related to social consequences of pandemic desease Covid-19 in the context of digital technologies. I attempt at grasping new trends of social change which they are just sprouting under the impact of pandemic. Our attention should in the months to come be focused on the new avenues of thought. We are facing new reserach problems and questions and answering them requires empiria as a base of the new knew knowledge we critically need. We are by and large aware what are the vectors of change on the base of which we can try forecasting the future but we do not know yet what is their resultant direction and the shape of change as well as its assessment. Volatility and acceleration constitute two megatrends resulting from technologization of life. I am focused on seven arbitralily selected issues connected with social functioning of digital technologies in the context of pandemic.
