Abstract Modern communication processes between people and cultures taking place in the conditions of techno-everydayness, glocalisation and the formation of new morals and ethics are difficult to characterize and interpret in the light of the rich heritage of the philosophy of conflict and the philosophy of dialogue. Today's experience of understanding and one’s presence does not reflects the traditionally understood experience. Taking the following into account the author of the article assumes that social media simplifies the establishment of dialogue, but also a noticeably change its character associating it firmly with the conflict. The mentioned above permeation as well as socio-philosophical attempts to redefine the conflict and dialogue are the content of the article.
