Abstract This article focuses on a relatively new problem of deriving income from the design and sale of social games and online games on the Internet. The on-line entertainment industry is characterized by a marked upward trend. The article presents the technical, economic and social considerations. Attention was drawn to the positive and negative impacts of these types of games per user.
