Abstract The article describes the main features of social games, the mechanisms that occur in them and the types of users who are using them. The economic aspects of social games are indicated. The the most popular business models and mechanisms that enable for the developers and for the publishers to make profits thanks to the published items are presented. Based on the survey have been defined users preferences of a discussed type of game.
