Abstract The article deals with post-earthquake e-folklore of a global character. The author’s study is mainly based on Internet sources. After the catastrophe, there remained an old legend about a Haitian – Satanic pact and "God’s wrath" (cited by a CBN televangelist) on the one hand. On the other hand, the Polish media focused on the black progeny of Poles from the Haitian village Cazale, who have awaited help from the old country for 200 years.
