DETERMINANTS OF CREATIVITY IN THE DIGITAL AGE AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

Abstract The purpose of this article is to attempt to describe and explain the relevant important factors influencing creativity in the digital and artificial intelligence (AI) era. Creativity occurs at the interface between the human cognitive system, which is supported by knowledge and experience, and knowledge data bases and methods for stimulating creativity . The advent of artificial intelligence has resulted in a shift in understanding of the concept of memory, remembering, and the self-propagation of knowledge in the learning process. Deductive inference, a critical review of the liter-ature and structural theories and the conative concept were used to explain these changes in the presented article. The research conducted and the results obtained summarise and extend the knowledge of creativity and its close relationship with creativity and innovation and indicated that the formation of creativity requires the involvement of both individual and team, the development of the cognitive system, self-modification and monitoring, and the use of computer devices and programmes. The attribute of creativity refers to individuals displaying a proactive attitude and ingenuity, rather than spreading the myth of the dominant role of imagination and genius. On the other hand, the process of creativity formation is closely related to creative motivation and the achievement of satisfaction when performing tasks that arise from the need for people to solve problems using AI.
