Abstract We live in times of building an information society and of delighting with the expected benefits after its completion. The social masses usually perceive superficially the effects of the development of the information society. They enjoy that because of computerization, robotization and dissemination of "smart" devices of everyday use, they will not have to work hard physically and mentally. Technical devices and artificial intelligence will take over their efforts. Only few people will have to work hard in the sectors of industrial production and agriculture. The majority will be employed in the spheres related to computerization and IT. The work in these sectors of the economy seems rather light and pleasant. However, more unfavorable phenomena than favorable ones accompany the development of the information society. Many researchers pay attention to this. A deeper reflection on the negative consequences of the information society and on the risks it poses, leads to the conclusion, that such society will not be as good as one thought Already, some phenomena occurring in the information society begin to disappoint people more and more often. The concern for the future grows proportionally to this, how in the consequence of computerization hardworking, intelligent, caring for survival and responsible people gradually but quickly transform into lazy, stupid, selfdestructive and irresponsible. If the further fate of humanity will depend on them, it is easy to predict what awaits us in the future.
