Abstract Fashion blogs, although they are a relatively new phenomenon on the Internet, quickly gained approbation and popularity among of Internet users. According to many rankings (e.g. Blogosfera and Social Media) authors of fashion blogs belong to the most influential groups of bloggers. The proof of that is a fact, that the most popular Polish blogs about fashion have more than a million of views monthly. The present article is regarding the problem of the reception of fashion blogs amongst high school students. Basing on the empirical research, the paper presents answers the following questions: How do teenagers perceive fashion blogs? Why are fashion bloggers so popular? What impact has fashion blogs on the shopping preferences of young people? The article presents the results of research carried out using the questionnaire method. The research was conducted in Eugeniusz Kwiatkowski’s Complex of Secondary Schools of Economics in Sandomierz. The software SPSS IBM Statistics was used for statistical analysis.
