Abstract The main aim of this article is to determine the influence of 3- and 4-Dimention technology on the area of new media reality. The history of stereoscopic vision (the Renaissance perspective, stereoscopic photography, laterna magica, the “kaleidoscopic perspective” and the kinetoscope) finally concentrates on the invention of 3D cinema. Nowadays we also explore the potential of 4D experience (a 3D film with physical effects that occur in theatre in synchronization with the film). These milestones have changed the way we thought about the “classical” idea of cinema. In the light of these transformations, it is also necessary to reassess our picture of the cinematic experience. The next point are the VR gadgets (goggles, VR headsets) and the question of immersion. Undoubtedly, the customer’s body has been put in a brand new communication context – it transforms the idea of gaming, entertainment and the borders of reality. Those projects presented in following article are obviously open for new media solutions and should expanded with other senses.
