Abstract School communication constitutes a pedagogical field of research that provides empiric exemplifications and instructions for educational practice. The subjects of the analysis are: features of language that is spoken by teachers in the didactic communication, patterns of communication between teacher and students in the light of the theory of education, as well as codes of communication between teachers and students in specific, school language pragmatics in the sociological aspect of education.
